The short version. get me out of here helps you understand and organise your move. It is guidance, not professional advice — your solicitor, agent and lender stay exactly as important as they were. The beta is free, invite-only, and you can leave whenever you like.
1. Who you are agreeing with
get me out of here is a trading name of Colour Dot Holdings Limited (“we”, “us”), registered in England and Wales.
Registered office: 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.
Company number: 17363337.
Contact: hello@getmeoutofhere.io — one address for support and for anything about your data.
By creating an account you agree to these terms.
2. The beta
get me out of here is currently a free, invite-only beta. There is no payment step, nothing can be purchased, and everything normally reserved for paid plans is switched on. That remains true for the whole beta period.
It is early software. Expect rough edges, occasional wrong answers, and features that change or disappear between visits. Please do not rely on it as your only record of anything that matters to your move.
We may suspend or end the beta, or any individual’s access to it, at any time and without notice. If we end your access we will tell you, and section 9 explains what happens to your data.
3. What get me out of here is, and is not
It is a companion for your move: it reads what you give it, answers questions, drafts messages, tracks your progress and reminds you what is next.
It is not a solicitor, conveyancer, surveyor, mortgage broker or financial adviser, and nothing it says is legal or financial advice. It never acts on your behalf: it will draft, suggest and remind, but you send everything and you make every decision. Anything that matters — dates, figures, obligations — check with the professional who is actually handling it for you.
Answers are produced by AI models working from what you provide and from public data sources. We ask them to be careful and to say when they are unsure, but we cannot guarantee any answer is accurate, current or complete.
None of that removes your rights. If the service is not provided with reasonable care and skill, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 applies whatever this page says.
4. Your account
You must be 18 or over to use get me out of here. Moving home is a contractual undertaking, and the product is built on that assumption; it is not for under-18s in any form.
One account per person, and the details you give us must be yours. Keep access to your email secure — anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
5. What you bring in
The product works on what you choose to give it: documents you upload, emails you forward, and — if you connect a mailbox — messages from senders you approve.
You confirm you have the right to share what you bring in. Most of what passes through a move is yours to share. Some is not: the clearest example is a document belonging to the other side of your transaction — a buyer’s survey on the home you are selling, sent to you in confidence. If something was given to you in confidence, respect that confidence. We hold what you bring in against your account and never act on it without your say-so, but what you choose to bring in is your responsibility.
Do not upload anything unlawful, and do not use the service to harass anyone, to send spam, or to probe or overload the systems it runs on. We may suspend accounts that do.
6. Messages the product helps you send
Where get me out of here helps you write to your solicitor, agent, broker or lender, it saves a draft for you to review and send yourself. It does not send mail on your behalf. What you send, from your own mailbox, under your own name, is yours.
7. Pricing
The beta is free. When paid plans arrive after the beta, we will tell you before anything changes, nothing will be charged without your explicit purchase, and these terms will be updated first.
The refund commitment we are making now, so it is on the record before a single payment exists: when payments switch on, plans and passes will carry a 14-day no-questions refund window. Change your mind within 14 days, tell us, and you get your money back — even if you have used what you bought. One exception, stated now so it never surprises anyone: per-property reports — the basic report, and richer searches such as TM Group reports if we offer them — are assembled for you the moment you buy them, and are non-refundable. Buying one is your express request for immediate supply and your acknowledgment that the 14-day cancellation right ends once the report is delivered; the checkout will say so in plain words before you pay. If a report is defective or not as described, that is different — the Consumer Rights Act 2015 applies whatever this page says, and we will put it right.
8. Emails from us
We send messages about your own move — sign-in links, reminders, things awaiting your review. Those are part of the service. During the beta we may also email you about the beta itself, including the occasional question about your experience.
Marketing email about get me out of here more generally is optional, controlled by a tick-box at signup and a switch in Settings, and stopping it changes nothing else about your account.
9. Leaving, and us parting ways
Delete your account whenever you like — ask, or use the control in Settings. Your account and everything in it is deleted: documents, messages, conversation history, the lot. Deletion begins at once and completes within one calendar month; your forwarding address stops accepting mail the moment you ask.
If we suspend or end your access under these terms, the same deletion applies unless the law requires us to keep something specific, in which case we keep only that and only for as long as required.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows: the beta is provided free of charge, and we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on information in the product, from unavailability, or from data loss — which is why section 2 asks you not to treat it as your only record. If we are found liable despite that, our total liability is limited to £100.
11. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will update the date at the top and tell you by email where the change matters. Continuing to use the service after that is acceptance; if you do not accept, section 9 is always available.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes fall to the courts of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
